Personal members of the DPG receive discounted fees!
Should you decide to become a DPG member, please apply for membership online, prior to registration to the conference. Your DPG-membership-number will be issued within 24 hours on working days. Registration for the conference as a DPG member is possible as soon as membership has been applied, even if you do not yet have the membership number.

For Early Bird Fee
- register online until 11 February 2026, at the latest

pay the conference fee until 18 February 2026, at the latest
(Payment must be credited to bank account of DPG e.V. this day latest!)
For Regular Fee
- register online until 11 March 2026, at the latest or register on site at the conference office
Conference registration is mandatory for all oral and posters presenting authors and as well for conference participants without own contributions.

All registration fees are net prices exempt from Value Added Tax. The German Physical Society is a German registered association for non profit and is not liable to VAT.
*The reduced conference fee is available to all personal members of the DPG as well as the personal members of the DPG Partner Societies as a booking option within the registration.
Students are defined as individuals preparing for one of the following degrees: Bachelor, Master, Diploma, or 1. Staatsexamen. Please note that PhD candidates are not considered students in this context. When registering as a student, you must present a valid certificate of enrollment at the registration desk, clearly indicating that you are not yet enrolled in a PhD programme.
**Is only valid for one of the DPG Spring Meetings 2026 with current statement of school or employer. Does not apply to retired teachers or teachers at private tuition schools, adult education centres, universities and universities of applied sciences.
The conference fees include:
- your name badge
- a conference bag
- the printed short programme of the conference
- the welcome evening
- all coffee breaks during the conference
- the access to all conference scientific events and the Exhibition of Scientific Instruments and Literature
Payment/Invoicing
The fees are net prices exempt from Value Added Tax and payment will be made on the basis of the booking and payment information which you will receive within 24 hours after registration on working days by e-mail. A payment receipt (receipt without Value Added Tax) for the fee paid will be given to all participants on site at the conference office. Should a proper invoice (in accordance with § 14 Abs. 4 Umsatzsteuergesetz) be necessary, please request it here.
If the payment of the conference fee is made by your institute or employer as a combined bank transfer, please note the corresponding information.
Purchase orders cannot be accepted and processed by us. Also invoices cannot be sent via any kind of payment platforms.
All registered participants who have paid their conference fee in full and on time will usually receive a confirmation with a QR Code shortly after their payment has been received and processed, but no later than one week before the start of the conference. The QR Code enables express-check-in at the conference office. In this way the queue time can be reduced significantly.
If you have not payed the fee by the start of the conference or you would like to register on site you can pay preferably by giro, debit or credit card (VISA and MasterCard) at the conference office during the conference week.We kindly ask you to make your payment electronically and refrain from paying in cash. Please understand that we can not accept 200 Euro banknotes.
Cancellation and refund
All requests for cancellations and refunds must be received in writing by 11 February 2026 (end of the early bird registration period) at the latest. If you have already paid your conference fee at the time of cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail regarding the refund of the fee. A processing fee of € 30.00 will be retained with the refund. All cancelations after 11 February 2026 are non-refundable.
Requests for refunds are to be sent to

Please note that refunds will be issued only after the conclusion of the DPG Spring Meeting, starting at the earliest at the end of April 2026.
